Getting Organized

There are many ways to organize your coupons. As I said in the Where to Start section, I organize in a binder. I have 24 dividers, 4 different page protector sizes, STORE COUPON POLICIES, all put into a 3inch zippered binder! I also uses a mini accordion file for the coupons that I'm going to use on that specific shopping trip.
If you're going to use a binder, whether it be a 1 or a 4 inch binder, I suggest investing in a zippered binder, especially if you have children. Why zippered? Ever accidentally pick a binder up on the wrong end and have your papers fall out? Imagine that with 100 coupons? Eek!
You can also organize in a mini accordion file. If you only have a few coupons, this might work better for you!
I've seen some people organize their coupons in photo boxes as well. Whatever works best for you, go with it!!

If you're going to use an accordion file, box, etc you're good. If you're looking into a binder you're probably wondering about the pages you'll put your coupons in. I use 4 different sizes.

- 9 Pocket (Baseball card size) -
- 6 Pocket (Tall/Wide card size) -
- 3 Pocket (Currency) -
I also use full-sized page protectors. I buy mine from Amazon now, but you can find them at Walmart, Target or office supply stores. I have found that the BCW pages from Amazon are the most sturdy.
